Level 3 (Advanced Coaching Award)

 Our Level 3 Advanced Coaching Award Course is internally verified and a quality assured course which is suitable for coaches who wish to lead an annual programme rooted in player-centred coaching, game-based practice design/decision training. This course is suitable for coaches working in performance environments and player pathways.

 

Total Course Cost: £995 (with option to pay by phase in 3 instalments; phase 1 & 2 instalment - £350, phase 3 & 4 instalment - £400, phase 5 & 6 instalment - £245)

What does this Course involve?
- Tactical workshops across all areas of the court to support coaches at performance level.
- Regular mentoring opportunities to support coaching practices whilst engaging with the Award.
- Learning from established coach developers and those who have coached at International and top domestic level.
- Content which consists of 8 modules (blend of online and some face-to-face at two weekends - aiming to be alongside two Europe Netball competitions).

Award Pre-requisites

  •  Be 21 years of age,

  •  Be a registered member of Europe Netball,

  •  Be able to utilise technology and have access to a reliable computer and internet access,

  •  Is a recognised Europe Netball Level 2 Coach or equivalent or can demonstrate recognition of current competency,

  •  Has completed at least one year of coaching experience after achieving a Level 2 award / qualification,

  •  Has experience of Coaching within a performance environment,

  •  Is a Head Coach of a competition squad or is managing a performance development pathway programme,

  •  Possess a recognised and in-country specific first aid and safeguarding qualification,*

  •  Attend the initial online briefing covering the programme structure, delivery, and assessment methods,

  •  Complete an application and submit by the required deadline to the Europe Netball Project Lead for Coaching.

  • Applicants must be a member of a National Governing Body who is affiliated to Europe Netball.

* First Aid and Safeguarding (or any other relevant compulsory training) must be current prior to any certification for this Award if required in the Country of membership.
