Workshop Description
Delivered by Alison Lamont. Alison has supported the development of game based resources with England Netball and supported the development of netball coaches in Africa introducing game based approaches. Alison is currently engaged in practitioner focussed research completing her PhD in innovative approaches to develop decision-making in sports performers. Alison is also a coach developer and mentor across a range of sports including Gloucester Rugby club, working with the performance and academy team of deliverers looking at intra and inter personal knowledges, reflective practice and game based approaches. Saturday 11th April 2026, 9:30-11:30am (UK Time) This session will focus on: • Ideal for beginners looking to grasp this approach and enhance their delivery. • An introduction to the concept of game-based learning in sessions. • Exploring game based practices in netball. • Understanding how to turn your common practices into game-based design. Places are first come, first served. Attendees are expected to have their camera on for the duration of the session. If you are unable to attend the workshop live you can purchase a recording of this workshop by selecting this option in the booking form.
