Workshop Description
Delivered by Amy Griffiths Amy is a highly experienced netball coach and coach developer with 15 years of experience coaching across national and international programs. Amy holds an MSc in Sport & Exercise Science with research exploring the application of a Constraints-Led Approach in elite netball and a BSc in Sports Development & Coaching. As a member of the Europe Netball Coaching Working Group and an International Coach Educator, Amy has supported coach development across Europe and Africa and served as Head Coach for the IOM U21s at the 2024 World Youth Cup Qualifiers. Amy is currently completing her Europe Netball Level 3 qualification and has experience working across NSL age groups U15–U21 and Player Development Programmes. Monday 16th March 2026, 6:30pm - 8.30pm (UK Time) Session Focus: • Exploring how to design games that teach tactics. • Covering the importance of developing creative, tactically intelligent players, not just focusing on coaching technical skills. • How to manipulate constraints and game-based activities to shape unit behaviours and develop on-court relationships. • Developing athletes who can self-assess, adapt, and make corrections independently. • Practical strategies and tools for effective planning and preparation. Places are first come, first served. Attendees are expected to have their camera on for the duration of the session.
