Our Team Manager Accreditation Award is designed to support current and aspiring netball team managers to develop the knowledge, skills and confidence required to lead effectively across a range of competition environments.

​

The course provides a practical and interactive learning experience, combining focused workshops, real-world scenarios and opportunities to learn directly from experienced team managers working across domestic and international netball.

​

Whether supporting a club, pathway, national or international programme, the course will help team managers develop the skills required to create a professional, player-centred and well-organised environment.

​

Total Course Cost: £160

Includes x4 2.5 hour online sessions and the accreditation assessment process.

What does this course involve

The programme consists of four 2.5-hour online sessions, exploring the key areas of effective team management.

​

Each session will combine practical learning, discussion, scenarios and reflection, with an experienced guest team manager joining the programme to share their expertise and provide an opportunity for questions and discussion.

Course Content

• Strategic Leadership - Developing the role of the team manager as a strategic leader within the wider performance environment.​

• ​Player Welfare - Supporting player wellbeing and creating an environment where players can perform, develop and thrive.

• ​Seamless Logistics Across Competition - Developing the organisational skills required to ensure teams can perform effectively across competition.​

• Conflict Resolution & Problem Solving - Developing the confidence and skills to manage difficult situations effectively and professionally.​

Learn from experienced team managers

Each course session will include an experienced guest team manager, providing candidates with the opportunity to hear directly from practitioners who have worked across different levels and competition environments.

Accreditation

Candidates who complete the programme will have the opportunity to undertake the Team Manager Accreditation assessment process.

​

The assessment is designed to demonstrate the candidate's ability to apply their learning to practical team management situations and reflect on their own practice.
